as traditional music from oral cultures of Mexico and Spain.With works by Bach, Geminiani, and Biber, Die Wunderkammer presents a range of early and late baroque masterpieces. The sensibility of Bach’s works for solo violin contrasts with the quirky virtuosity of a sonata by Geminiani, while a partita by Biber brings the brilliant sounds of XVI century Austrian Baroque.
