Much more: Grace, from beginning to end

What is Grace?
In the Trinity midweek bible study on Philippians, we have, amongst other things, looked at the word Grace. (Phil 1:2 & 1:8) But what does this little word mean?

The Bible says:

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me.
1 Corinthians 15:10

Dr Kevin Roy has an explanation …

“What was this grace that Paul was speaking about?
It is the sheer mercy of God which grants forgiveness to undeserving guilty sinners it is the wonderful loving kindness of God that he extends to those even who hate him and oppose.”

The Bible says:
For by grace you have been saved through
faith and that not of yourselves not even your
faith it is the gift of god not as a result of works that no one should boast
Ephesians 2:8-9
